AIMS & OBJECTIVES IN THE REGISTRATION DOCUMENT

  1. 1. To promote and support a large number of sustainable livelihoods among rural/urban/tribal poor people and women in the country to help them achieve a better quality of life.
  2. 2. To take-up all constructive service in Rural and Urban areas inspires of Poverty alleviation, Women upliftment, Family welfare, Public Health, Environmental protection, consumer awareness programmes, and development of alternative and Renewable sources of energy.
  3. 3. Providing specialized fabrics at affordable rates to the members.
  4. 4. Providing design intervention to the Jute Diversified products made by members for giving value addition in the market.
  5. 5. To create employment and sustained livelihood to the workers by establishing good market linkages.
  6. 6. Create platform for budding entrepreneurs in the field of Jute and other natural fibres.
  7. 7. To diversify Jute products beyond the category of bags.
  8. 8. To connect with all government institutes, PSUs, and private corporations for delivering quality jute diversified products.
  9. 9. To pool in resources for the creation of a common facility centre for the members for facilitating their production and marketing requirements.
  10. 10. To evolve suitable business models for sustaining the members' participation.
  11. 11. To have capital investment in bringing the latest technology into fabric natural dye, bleaching, apparel quality finishing, design development, etc.
  12. 12. To connect WSHG in skilling and promoting jute diversified product portfolios.
  13. 13. To commercialize new technology products and processes of Jute and allied natural fibres for the benefit of Jute Artisans, Jute Farmers, etc.
  14. 14. To participate in fairs, workshops, conferences, and exhibitions, both domestic and international, for their members.
  15. 15. To organize outreach programs for creating awareness about Jute and other eco-friendly products.
  16. 16. To develop and supplement new eco-friendly products as a solution to plastic menace.
  17. 17. To ensure quality and standard operating procedures are implemented by the members.
  18. 18. To undertake regular audits for ensuring and safeguarding the cooperative society funds.
  19. 19. Members to contribute suitable policy and subscription charges for their membership fees across India.
  20. 20. To undertake Urban & Rural Development Programmes and Integrated Tribal Development Projects for socio-economic development.
  21. 21. To organize General Awareness projects, Training, and educational activities, including vocational training and skill up-gradation.
  22. 22. To establish orphanages, old-age homes, leprosy rehabilitation centres, homes for widows, physically & mentally handicapped, and helpless people.
  23. 23. To run Blood Banks and conduct health-related programs such as Eye-Camps, Blood Camps, HIV/AIDS awareness, Cancer awareness, and medical camps.
  24. 24. To work for Child Welfare and Child Development strategies.
  25. 25. To provide technical education in various trades like tailoring, embroidery, candle making, computer training, and basic education for weaker sections.
  26. 26. To promote Animal & Birds Welfare Programs.
  27. 27. To organize games, sports, and cultural activities.
  28. 28. To undertake Global Warming awareness, environmental education, pollution control, and waste management.
  29. 29. To develop and propagate the use of appropriate technology, including alternative energy sources like solar energy, biogas, and wind energy.
  30. 30. To educate the public in the fields of flood safety, air safety, and water safety.
  31. 31. To conduct training on disaster preparedness and management.
  32. 32. To take up environmental protection programs.
  33. 33. To undertake Education, Agriculture, Horticulture, Dairy, Watershed, and Human Resource Development Programmes.
  34. 34. To rehabilitate mentally and hearing-impaired children through appropriate means.
  35. 35. To promote literacy by organizing literacy centers for agricultural laborers and underprivileged communities.
  36. 36. To provide relief to people affected by natural calamities and assist in rehabilitation through income-generating schemes.
